With the same spirit in which the Federalist Papers and Anti-Federalist Papers appeared prior to the launching of the US Constitution, the following article is re-posted. It has been three years since this article was written and of course its subjects remain timely. It is of interest to any discerning person acquainted with E. C. Riegel's ideas that we accept certain realities affecting the present economic system. We therefore begin with those at the top.
A story which I have been following since 2006 concerns something referred to universally as "the Settlements" which involve something described as the “refunding” of the US dollar, which is said to be required due to a number of things including mountains of debt that have been piled up by the reckless play of derivatives market operations. Connected with these "Settlements" is an elaborate Ponzi scheme involving blackmail, bribery and intrigue in webs of corruption on an historically unprecedented massive scale, all operated by some of the biggest names in American and international politics and finance in an often cynical and always determined course to force the world to accept a form of tyranny by a few who apparently have the temerity to believe they can get away with their audacious scheme, to the extent that they are literally willing to bring down the entire world's financial system unless they get their way.
Standing back to look at the entire current world situation, I do not see maturity of any kind operating anywhere among the leadership. In fact the politics, posturing, bellicosity, flagrant attempts to push the world toward confrontation and war, all intended as cover for their continued insatiable self-enrichment and corruption, reveal a vast immaturity on the part of political economic leadership that is so appalling that it makes one honestly question the worth of the continued survival of the species, as it is such an embarrassment to us that we have endured so much folly for so long.
The people have been more than long-suffering and patient. These leaders have referred to us as "the masses", considered us weaker, dumber and not as gifted as themselves, have even deliberately subjected us to schemes and scams to ensure that their view of us is maintained. Above all they have resolutely demonstrated their contempt for freedom, real dignity, truth, honesty and basic morality. It has always and everywhere from time immemorial been considered a crime to steal what does not belong to you, yet the elites do it routinely all the time as if it is their privilege to do so. It is apparent to me that should we continue on our present course, with this caliber of leadership, we are likely to face extinction in the very near future.
At the core of it all is actually a very simple concept, one that perhaps lies behind every human evil of any kind to be so identified and perpetrated among us; the notion that some people are somehow special, superior to others, who deserve to rule by some fluke of race, culture or bloodline, who must outrank and generally lord it over the rest of us, these “authorities” acquire most of their attitude through the brutal use of force if necessary, who would not shrink from doing what the less evil among the rest of us would never dare to do.
Through their history of action, these people have attained a sort of god-like status that they recognize among themselves and impose on the lower orders who are either made dependent on them in some way or are kicked to the side of most modern societies, especially where they are not wanted most, which is usually if they happen to lie in the path of these rapacious leaders.
It is all too easily imagined that the average people are not aware of the immature behavior of their political and economic leaders, when in fact the information resources available today, especially the internet, have facilitated communication around the globe among ordinary people in middle and lower levels of vast organizations and even privately and personally through a variety of modalities, channels and networks available on-line.
Don't imagine that those who have their brains in tact and more importantly their intellectual integrity; those who have rejected any indoctrination to believe something is real just because it is economically convenient and pragmatic to do so, have been fooled. As times get worse and prophecies of both Biblical and non Biblical proportions proceed to fulfillment, it is going to be harder to preserve the illusion that the political and economic leadership know what they are doing, or that their real intentions are not clearly seen for the evil and insane agendas they are.
Indeed it is quite possible that the legitimacy of worldwide political and economic authority which provide the pillars of society may be sufficiently undermined that the entire facade of Western civilization may come right off revealing very selfish and petty motives by a spoiled and poisonous elite group who have through their historically traceable actions lost any claim to rule or have any say whatsoever in the affairs of mankind.
The primary political wisdom of these would be gods among us turns out to be the decision concerning who is to live and who is to die, amounting to a belief that they have a right to a triage of humanity based on their age old contentions that there are always too many people, especially of the wrong kinds, in the wrong places, taking up too much room or resources from the right people, animals, nature, etc. It has already been too long since anyone dared to ask the simple question, what gives these people the nerve to become vast social busy-bodies, insinuating themselves into the affairs of others and determining other people's destinies, the despicable antics of "we know better," when in most cases it is easy to prove that they don't know much of anything, based on clear track records of failure, often made to fail deliberately for some cynically nefarious business to favor themselves.
With most of it has been offered the blithe assurance that they will get away with it whenever or if ever they are caught, which wont be often, because they have important or powerful friends, etc. They have bought everything and rig the markets as well. Yet we may shortly see what happens when the webs these people weave are seen by more of us as made of lies and deceit and that many of their enemies will emerge from those who were once counted among their closest friends, who were likely as not double-crossed and cheated or whose reputations may have been callously destroyed, for sport as much as for the grand cause, which turns out to be nothing more than the same old childish dream of world domination by a single triumphant person, group or culture.
Please, ladies and gentleman. Can we please grow up and demand the same from our leaders?
